Here’s just about everything you need to know about me. Today I made a bet with someone to see who could go longer without making a smart ass comment. I lost in about 2 minutes. (Of course, the other person decided not to open her mouth for the remainder of the meeting. I call that cheating.)
That said, I’m a Creative Director at a New York City advertising agency. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some amazingly talented people. I’ve worked on teams that have created amazing work. I have had some great successes and a few huge failures. But I always try. I always care. And at the end of the day, I try my best to make a difference in the work that I produce and in the lives of the people I work with.
And I really do try not to be a smart ass. But it’s really hard sometimes.

For those of you who are wondering what the pizza reference is all about – I once hit Tom Miller in the face with a slice of pizza after he ‘stole’ my 9th grade girlfriend. At the time it wasn’t very funny, and Tom and I didn’t speak for about a year.
We eventually made up – until he ‘stole’ my 10th grade girlfriend.

I threatened my boys that if they didn’t stop complaining I would make them carry a “Complaint Journal” so as to document complaint with the date and time so as to make them aware of the frequency. This declaration was immediately followed with a threat of having to carry a “Smart Ass Journal”.
